Marimekko Puutarha Eldfamn Skirt

The Puutarha skirt is made of firm organic cotton, and it has a slim, A-line fit. The skirt features the Eldfamn pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. It has a concealed zipper in the back seam, side seam pockets, and a bell-shaped hem.

Marimekko skirts are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.

Petra Börner is often drawn to natural themes in her work, exploring varied techniques with passionate lines that tie her compositions together. Inspired by the power of color and growth, Eldfamn is part of her ongoing POWERFLOWER series. The dynamic, blooming artwork was created on paper using Indian ink and acrylic colors. The title refers to the glow and positive energy of the design—as if being held in a warm embrace.
